This book is your guild to finding true love… with God! In the book it tells you that a girl’s heart should be so lost in God that a man must seek him to find her!This is so not what our society is supporting today, but it is so true.
This book helps you discover how to be so lost in God that any man must seek him before they can find you. Dannah Gresh, the author of Get Lost, uses personal stories, bible verses, and motivation to send you on a 10 day Love feast with God.

I really enjoyed this book because it inspired me to seek God even more. I think this book would be a challenge to every Christian teen girl because it allows them to hear what God wants from them in a relationship. This book goes against what we consider “societies norms” and challenge us, as Christians, to be different. I would recommend this book to any Christian teenage girl who wants to fin that special someone one day.

Book Review: To Heaven and Back

This is a true story by Mary C. Neal, and it is about her extraordinary account of her death, Heaven, Angels, and life again. In 1999 in the region of southern Chile, orthopedic surgeon, devoted wife, and loving mother Dr. Mary Neal drowned in a kayak accident. She always lived a very active and fast paced life but on that day while going down a waterfall Mary’s kayak pinned against a rock completely submerging her under the water. While her family and friends tried to help her she ended up died. But after meeting with angels in heaven, Mary said that the God had more plans for her life and send her back to earth. With unfinished business brought to her this book is about her fears, strengths, and accomplishment, and give readers a glimpse of Heaven.

I enjoyed the simple way the book was written because it had a lot of voice. I was a fast paced read and keep the reader attention. I recommend this book to any christian who has questions as to what Heaven is like and have questions about their purpose in life?

This book by Eric Blehm is about the operator from the legendary and courageous SEAL TEAM SIX Adam Brown. When Navy SEAL Adam Brown woke up on March 17, 2010, he didn’t know he would die that night in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan—but he was ready. He had already written a letter to his two young children in case the worst happened. He wrote them “I’m not afraid of anything that might happen to me on this earth, because I know no matter what, nothing can take my spirit from me.” With his strong faith and fearless attitude Adam became greatly loved by other NAVY SEAL members, but he was not always like that. Before he joined SEAL TEAM SIX he was your typical southern guy. He wanted to be like every other guy strutting down his high school hall way in his football uniform, and getting into trouble being the daredevil that he was. But when one mistake want a little to far and he wound up in jail he began questioning his life and finding Gods grace and forgiveness.

Overall i really enjoyed this book, even though I did not think I was going to at first. It really shows you that no matter what you have done in your life God can change all that and show you the amazing plan that he has for you. I recommend this books to any christian or non-christian that wants an inspiring book to read.

Book Review: The Widow of Saunders Creek

Corrie Saunders grew up in a life of privilege. But she gave it all up for Jarrod, her Army husband, a man she knew was a hero and she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She just didn’t expect him to sacrifice his life taking on an Iraqi suicide bomber. Several months after his death goes back to the home that Jarrod inherited. Corrie does not want to live without her hero Jarrod. Eli,Jarrod’s cousin, is helping Corrie fix up the inherited house. When Eli, a Christian, suspects that Corrie is getting into dangerous things when she begans to belive that she is seeing JArrod from the beyond and she wants him to come back. Eli trys to convince Corrie to move on and and put her trust in God.

I thought this book was pretty good, but kind of boring at times. I recommand it to young adults who enjoy seeing the phycological christian viws on different issues. I found the book really good at the start but kind of dragged on at the end and became boring at times.

His Princess Book review

This book by Sheri Rose Shepherd is an amazing book! First of all it is written in a letter form and the letters are from Gods perspective about how much he loves us and how we should live. God sees us as his daughters, his princesses. We should live as if we are worth it. We should never settle for anything less then what God has for us. God is our father and our kind. We are all princesses in his eyes. These letters will really help you see yourself the way God sees you. It is a book filled with challenges and is vary thought provoking.

I recommend this books for any woman who is having a hard time truly seeing themselves though Gods eyes or who just wants to be reminded of how much you are truly loved. I absolutely loved this book and it really spoke to me and I know it will do the same for you! You are royality!

Book Review: The Scent of Cherry Blossoms

This book is by Cindy Woodsmall, who is know for her amazing Amish novels. This story is about Annie Martin who loves the Plain ways of her Old Order Mennonite people. Martin is Plain Order Mennonite while Aden Zook is Plain Order Amish, but when childhood friendship springs into something more, they are worlds apart. Annie family soon becomes at ends with each other though many tragic events. When Annie begins to fall in love with Aden, everything comes crashing down.While caring for a someone is not a sin, a relationship with this them will cost them both, dearly.

I really enjoy reading Amish books, especially Cindy Woodsmall. This book was a quick read and good for Christians and non-Christians. It was a vary good love story that will draw you in and make you want to keep reading. I recommend this book to teenage girls but would be enjoyed by anyone who want a quick read or is interested in the Amish traditions.

Book review: Soul Print

This book is by author and pastor Mark Batterson and it is about discovery your divine destinyand what God’s plan for your life. It talks about the story of David and how he was just a little unimportant shepherd boy, but not to God. God had an amazing plan for Davids life even though he or anybody else know it. It is a good book because it helps you take your strugglesin life to become positive things that help you discover who you really are. You are so unique and there is no one quite like you. God has a plan that only you can do, and this book helps you find that.

This is a great self-discovery book and helps you understand gods plan for you life. I recommend it to every christian who is questioning their purposein life. This book is a a soul searching book and it really makes you think. Over all it was a really good book.

Book Review: Life, In Spite of Me

First of all I have to say this book was amazing!! It is an autobigraphy by Kristen Anderson. She had a a normal loving childhood with parents who loved her and took her to church every Sunday, but it all ended on that one day. One January night, determined to end her pain once and for all, the seventeen-year-old lay across train tracks not far from her home and waited to die, but God had other plans.Before the engineer could bring the train to a stop, thirty-three freight cars passed over her. After the train stopped she realized she was still alive, she looked around—and saw her legs ten feet away.Surviving her suicide attempt Kristen became even more depression.After going to several counselors and many serguries Kristen began to discovered Gods plan.

This book is absolutely amazing and I recommand it to everyone. It is an inspirational story that will make you cry and smile in a rememberance of how awesome God really is and who we need to truest in him in our life. It is a wonderful reminder that God has a purpose for each and everyone of us if we just trust in him.

Book Review: The Fourth Fisherman

Joe Kissack had it all… or did he? Cars, a large home, a beautiful wife and family, and a career that most would envy. But he did not have the love of his father. Joe was loves his Hollywood life without a car in the world, while 3 Mexican fisherman were fighting for their lives on a fishing boat stranded in the middle of the ocean. The fisherman, both experienced and talented, and no food, water, or gas. But they did have a bible. Through both characters were going though tough struggles with their faith and learning, they lean to just trust God and every thing will be o.k.

This book is based on a true story and i greatly enjoyed reading it. recommend it to any christian or even non-christian who enjoys reading a true story. This book teaches us that even when we think everything is going wrong, God has a plan and we just need to trust in him.

Book Review: Mercy COme Morning

This book is by Lisa Tawn Bergren, and it is about a young college professor named Krista Mueller. She is respected and well liked by many and she lives hundreds of miles away from home…away from her mother. It has been more then 10 years since Krista’s mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer. Krista although never really got along with her mom, put her in a first-class nursing home which ironically is owned by Dane, her high school sweetheart. Krista knows her mom is slowing dying and there is not much time left, but can she rekindle her relationship with her mom and rediscover past love with Dane?

I love this book. I recommend this book to any christian or non-christian that wants a heart warming book to read. This is a great book to read around the holidays and is sure to make you cry.

This book is by Kim Meeder. It is about standing for what matters most… the inner beauty. In this book Kim takes you though her own journey discovering your inner beauty. In todays society everyone and everything tells us that we must look the best,dress the best, and have the best stuff. To many people have been fooled by the world. God does not care about looks or materal things he cares about what is on the inside, your true beauty.

I loved this book. Is reminds your that it is on the inside that counts,and we cant be discouraged if we don’t meet the world standers of beauty. I recommend this book to and teenager or woman who needs a refreshed on what matters most…the inner beauty.

Book Review: Why Church Matters

This book is by Joshua Harris, he also wrote the book I kissed Dating goodbye which I loved so when i seen this as a book for me to review i was excited to read it, and I was not disappointing. Some churches have started to lose their fundamentals in the church. For many of us who attend church it’s just another part of our routine, or we are forced to go. For those who do not attend, but are believers, church has become something that they shrug off as unnecessary. In the book Joshua Harris reminds us of the importance of finding a good church and fellowship with other Christians.

I enjoyed this book! I have grow up in church and this book reminded me of why i really go. I recommend this book to any new believer or to anyone who wants to find there place in their church.

Book Review: Raised Right

This book is by Alisa Harris. It is about her life growing up in a family with high political and religious view. Coming from a conservative family Alisa grow up no certain political things, such as abortion is wrong, and gay rights is not ok. But how do things views connect with political elections. After coming out of college Alisa starts to search for her own political beliefs and She began to see that her religious beliefs and her political views were a tangled mess. She also starts to see other view points on topics that some people overlook.

I did not really agree with everything said in this book and found it king of boring at times. If you are someone who does not like political books, this is portability not a book choice of book for you.

Book Review:Redeeming Love

This amazing good was requested to me by a friend of mine and I could not wait to read it. This books is a modern telling of the book of Hosea,tells the story of a woman who was born to a single mother as a result of her affair with a married man. Angel was brought up in a world of poverty and prostitution. Angel is losing hope and can’t find any way out.
Michael Hosea is a Christian and has been praying for god to lead him to find the love of his life. One day when Angel is walking down the street God tells Michael“This one, beloved.” Is Micheal willing to listen to the voice of God?
This was the vary first Francine Rivers i had ever read and I became hooked from page one.Francine Rivers is an amazing Christian author and Redeeming Love is a Christian must read book.

Book Review: Waiting for Morning

This book is by Karen Kingsbury, one of my all time favorite authors. This book is the first book in the Forever Faithful series. The book is about forgiveness and healing in a family torn apart but drunk driving. In the book the Ryan family was a typical christian family striving to please God no matter what circumstance they were in…but that is all about to change. One day Tom Ryan and his two daughter Alicia and Jenny were on their way home from a camping trip and were so excited to get home and see their mom when the inevitable happened. A drunk driver smashed in to their car causing Tom and Alicia to fly out of the car and later pass away leaving Jenny and her mom Hannah to pick up the pieces of their shattered family. Will Hannah and Jenny continue to live their lives for God or have they given up and lost all faith?

I am a total fan of Karen Kingsbury book and this one made me love her books even more. This book is an absolute must read for all Christians and will make you want to keep reading. I can’t wait to read the other two book sin the series!!

Book Reveiw: Dinner with a perfect stranger

This book is by David Gregory and it is about a middle aged man named Nick Cominsky. One day at work Nick receives a invitation to dinner with Jesus Of Nazareth. After receiving the invitation Nick assumes it is his buddy from work playing a joke on him. Nick decides to accept the odd invatation and goes to a local restaurant to see who this “Jesus” is. After getting there and sitting with this “Jesus” Nick and him began to talk about life and what it means to be a christian and what other religions are doing wrong.

I enjoyed the fast paces and humor in this book. It really makes you think about other religion and why Christianity is the one true religion. I recommend this book to christian or even non-christian that need and eye opener about why Christianity and Jesus is the only why to haven.

Book Reveiw: To be perfectly honest

This book is by Phil Callaway and it tells about his challenge that he was given. The challenge was to see if he could tell the truth, and nothing but the truth for a whole year. This book is a journal about him embracing the challenge and the journey along the way. This challendge leads to financial investment troubles, thousands a questions from friends and family wanting to know the truth, and some hilarious situations.

I would recommend this book to any christian or even non-christian that wants to know what life would be like if everyone told the WHOLE truth.It challenges the reader to think about what they say before they say it and the importance of telling the truth. This book was hilarious and interesting i could hardly put it down. If something is 99% true and 1% lie it is still a lie.”

Book Review: The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck

This book is by Kathleen Y’Barbo. It is a book about Charlotte Beck, she is a spirited stubborn teenage girl who always seems to be messy things up. After she makes one to many mistakes her dad forces her to marry Alex Hambly. Her dad promises to by for Alex’s family debt and allow Charlotte to go to college if they marry.

This is a historical fiction book and not one of the best books i have read. I found it slightly confusing because of the olden time London Language. I recommend this book to someone who enjoys historical fiction

Book Review: Radical

This is an Amazing book, that every Christian should read. The book radical is by David Platt a pastor The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama. This book is a challenge for all Christian to take back there faith from the American Dream and be Radical for Jesus. it makes us think about the worlds view of being a Christian and the biblical view.

This is a book every christian should. I absolutely loved it. This book really makes you think and challenge the way we live our Christian lives. If you are a Christian and our up for a challenge, this is a must read!!

Departures Book Review

The book Departures is by Robin Gunn. It is about two teenage girls who go out on and adventure during their Summer! Christy Miller is on her way to Wisconsin to visit relatives, but after getting their she reunites with her old crush Matthew. Christy soon realizes that her Summer is full of possibles and quality time with God. The other main character is Sierra. She is on her way to Montana with her best friend Jana. Soon after getting there Sierra soon realizes that all Jana wants is a guy this Summer. After their friendship begins to suffer Sierra begins to wonder is there any such thing as a Best Friend Forever.

I enjoyed this book and recommend it to any teenage girl both christian and non-christian. It is a book about friendship and first love, but most important it is about how strong God can be in a teenage girls life, and that God can be your best friend.
